ACTUATOR PRODUCT ENGINEER

Led the mechanical design at CTS Corporation and successfully launched Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) control valve actuator with 2-stage compound gear train system and Variable-Nozzle Turbine (VNT) control valve actuator with 2-stage planetary gear train system. In addition, modularized the motor housing sub-assembly between these two actuators, which was consisted of about 40% of BOM cost. Both EGR and VNT actuators passed performance testing in April and September 2017 respectively. Fully functional prototypes were delivered to customers on time. Currently, these two actuators have become the CTS Corporation main product line in Europe market. The volume is 200K – 300K units per year.
